Phonics:
We
are continuing on with blends and diagraphs.
Reading:
We
are finishing up unit 2: Non-fiction and moving onto unit 3: tales over
time. Students will focus on story
elements and fiction texts.
Math:
We’ve
been working hard on addition and subtraction word problems, we will continue
that for a little while longer after Thanksgiving break and then move onto unit
4-collecting and analyzing data.
Devices:
Students
are doing amazingly well with devices.
One
way you can access resources at home are to log onto bcpsone.bcps.org with your
child’s user name and password.
Click
on Lahey Language Arts or math class.
There
is WIXIE and dreambox on the left hand side.
Students
can also how you their “tiles” under “lessons” and you can use websites/see their
work.
