Wiggly Worms

Worms, Worms, Worms!
We have been learning all about worms.  We first learned about it's body and what they look like.  Then we performed experiments with the other first grade classes to see what worms preferred (cold/warm, smooth/rough, dark/light, wet/dry).

This is definately more fun for the students than the teachers!

Student Readers

The students were all so excited to have the opportunity to read infront of the class.

A Special Treat

We got to meet and alligator and a crocodile up close and personal thanks to Toby's mom.

Sharing Our Work

Students came up, showed their work to the class, and explained how they got their answers.

Shaving Cream Spelling

There's nothing like practicing your spelling words in shaving cream.

So Much Fun!

Our New Outdoor Classroom

We went out to explore and read in our new school garden.
