Bats Bonanza

We spent the week reading fiction and non-fiction books about bats.

Non Fiction

We identified new learning about bats while reading "Bats Night Fliers".  Then, students were able to write 3 facts about bats.  Finally they assembled their own bat.

 

 

 

 

 

Non-fiction literacy through Scholastic News: Students read about different nocturnal animals.

 

Fiction:

We sequenced "Stellaluna" (one of my favorite books) by identifying the beginning, middle and end of the story.

We sure feel batastic about these misunderstood creatues of the night!
