A Peak at Our Weeks
Phonics: We have been working on digraphs and long
vowel sounds. We will continue to blend
sounds so we can read and write words.
Reading: We began our PACE unit on change. We will continue to work in small reading
groups to reinforce reading strategies and skills. With the Holidays quickly approaching I
anticipate we will be learning/creating a lot having to do with upcoming
events!
Math: We started Unit 3-Solving Story Problems (it’s
a long one). It includes combinations of
numbers, introducing subtraction, working with addition and subtraction, and counting
larger amounts.
